Last week, two representations of female bodies became the talk of Internet. One was of multiple scantily clad drawings of women on a shirt in a surprising setting and the other a fully nude live female from a very predictable source of such things. I give you Kim and science guy:

mattsxistkimsxistOn the right, weighing roughly less than the Philae lander, say 90 kgs, and coming from Darmstaadt, Germany is Matt Taylor of the ESA team that put that probe down on that comet talking to a journalist about it.

On the left, weighing an undetermined amount, because even though he’s about to slam at women for double standards this joe has been taught that it is not polite to reveal such things when dealing with ladies ( although *cough, cough* in the present case ), Armenia’s pride
( one supposes ) Kim Kardashian talking to a photographer about breaking the Internet.

The whole world or so it seems is talking about Kim who’s unapologetic. A smaller fringe got riled about Matt and he had to apologize. The feminists are defending Kim and the entertainment media is raking in the cash. The feminists are attacking Matt and the tasteless shirts industry is plummeting.

Kim’s rescue : http://www.cosmopolitan.com/entertainment/celebs/a33161/kim-kardashian-butt-cover-conversation-all-hail-kim/

So that I am now stuck in a logic ditch! Kim breaks stuff = good and Matt makes stuff = bad? Naaaaah! It’s because Matt is a guy, admit it! I mean, the gals above that peg themselves as feminists and end up chatting about the 36-24-36 figure, if in passing, when this male thought the debate had been closed on that years ago are only balanced by the two homosexual gentlemen below :

Why women trust men that like guys to help them look sexy to those that don’t, I’ll never understand but one of them being the Paper Magazine editor Mickey Boardman, it covers the factual defense. All of which is trivial : the crux of it is that the woman body is sold and bought.

Kim, in full respect of her feminity uses her right as a free woman to sell her ass, which is then reproduced in pictures that the paper is allowed to sell and people are allowed to buy them. Meanwhile, clothes makers are also allowed to buy naked pictures of women and print them on shirts and sell those to people that are allowed to buy them but if they’re guys, they are then not allowed to wear them because, miraculously, at this exact point, it becomes sexist? Are you flocking kidding me? Kim is a bimbo and Women’s Rights icon but Matt has no taste : to the stake?

Seriously, both obviously have problems with dress codes. Maybe that’s what happened to Kim, maybe the clothes she was asked to wear were offensive and being such a beacon of feminine integrity, she went without less she offend anyone? Now I see it! Oh! What a saint she is!

I wonder what the feminists would have said if Matt had worn a shirt with Kim’s half-dressed images all over it?
Oh! The irony of it all,  Tay!
